Jaxon's First Christmas

Jaxon had a wonderful first Christmas and celebrated by getting into the Christmas tree, opening presents by eating the wrapping paper, and enduring mommy dressing him in festive Christmas PJs! Most importantly, we had a wonderful time celebrating the true reason for the season, Christ's love with our friends and family.

First Halloween

Jaxon had a great time celebrating his first halloween. He went as a tiger and went trick-or-treating around the cal-da-sac.

Jaxon Turns Three Months!!

I can't believe how big Jaxon is getting. He continues to learn to do new things daily. These are from his three month photo shoot. I wasn't sure how he would do, but he was a trooper and smiled the entire time!

Baby Jaxon has been having fun copying us. He loves to give us big smiles and when you stick out your tongue out he'll stick his out right back at ya!

No....say it isn't so!!!

Jaxon just learned that mommy has to go back to work on Monday! I can't believe 9 weeks are over! Although I'm looking forward to getting back to work and seeing my co-workers and friends again, it's going to be tough saying good-bye to this face!

I'm getting so big!

Jaxon is now 9 weeks old. He weighs 10 pounds and 15 ounces and is 23 inches long! Certainly much bigger than the 5 pounds 8 ounces when he was born. He has such a fun personality which we get to see more and more each day. We are so blessed!

I love bath time!!

Jaxon really enjoys taking baths! It settles him down very quickly and we have made it part of his night-night routine to help him get ready for bed. He especially likes it when mommy plays silly games and makes his wash cloth look like a beret!

Do you think I need any more toys?!?

Jaxon loves to play on his play-gym. He is very good at batting the toys and grasping them with his hands. This is also when he likes to exercise his voice with coos and aahs and high pitched screeches! He's definately found his voice!

We are so blessed with our newest member of the family. He's such a miracle! I am so thankful for this time that I have been able to spend with Jaxon before I return back to work. We've been getting to know his little personality already. He loves to sleep however he does have more awake time periods. If we could just teach him the difference between daytime and night time! He loves to eat- and when he's hungry he wants it now...he has very little patience which I think he inherited from someone...(I won't name any names)? He continues to gain weight at a good rate- Tuesday he was up to 7 lbs. 4 0z. Thank you to all of our wonderful friends and family for all of your love, support and prayers! We look forward to the future when he's bigger and we can introduce you to him!
