Clowning Around

Jaxon has become best pals with Zoey. She loves giving him puppy kisses and he tries to return the gesture. Of course he still opens his mouth wide when he gives kisses, so we try to avoid kisses for the dogs! :)

What a little ham! Jaxon is such a happy, go-lucky-kid! We are so blessed to have him in our lives. Every day is a new adventure and it is such a joy to see him learn something new each day.

Jaxon loved playing at the Binder Park Zoo in Battle Creek. It gave us an opportunity to practice his animal sounds. He can tell you what a cow says, a pig, and a monkey (his favorite).

Jaxon's First Birthday

He's one already!! Jaxon had a wonderful first birthday party with lots of family, presents and cake! His party theme was monsters including cupcakes decorated like monster faces- thanks to Grandma DePew!

First Family Vacation in Florida

We were so fortunate to spend a week in the Florida keys with the Herron family! We had such a wonderful time all together.

Jaxon experienced many "firsts" on this trip- his first plane ride, his first time swimming, his first ocean experience, first time eating sand (oops!) and he upgraded from the arm crawl and learned to crawl for the first time on all fours!

January Fun- Snowed In

This winter has dumped a lot of snow, which in turn means we have to stay inside. So mommy and Buddy have had lots of fun taking silly pictures!

First New Years- 2011

Jaxon wasn't able to ring in the new year since midnight is way past his bed time (thank goodness). But we had a good time celebrating before he went to bed.
